The GUARDIAN KEVLAR is made to the exact standards as the regular GUARDIAN, but instead on the thick poly-nylon core the GUARDIAN KEVLAR has 2 layers of Dupont Kevlar sandwiched between 2 layers of cordura. The GUARDIAN KEVLAR is perfect for running catch dogs or hot weather hunting. The GUARDIAN incorperates the same neck, throat, and jaw protection found in the Boar Bib and utilizes the same biothane plating material in these areas. It also comes standard with the overlaping 3 sleeve design to protect your dog’s shoulder from cuts coming from any direction. The body of the vest is something new all-together. The entire body of the vest is cross-stitched and this stitching or “quilting” effect gives The GUARDIAN KEVLAR awesome strength and cut resistance. Many other vests on the market only strengthen the shoulders or chest area, but The GUARDIAN KEVLAR (just like the regular GUARDIAN) is reinforced and cross-stitched on every square inch of the vest body. The GUARDIAN KEVLAR is one of the most complete pieces of hog-dog protective gear available today. All metal hardware on The GUARDIAN KEVLAR is 100% stainless steel. We have been asked many times which vest offers the most protection…the regular GUARDIAN or the GUARDIAN KEVLAR? In all our testing we have found that both seem to have very simmilar levels of cut resistance. The regular GUARDIAN is much thicker which also gives a lot of impact protection and cuts down on muscle bruising and broken ribs. The GUARDIAN KEVLAR is much lighter which allows it to increase flexibility and keeps it cooler during hot weather hunting. Everyone has their own opinions and goals when it comes to protection and preferences….Having both the GUARDIAN and GUARDIAN KEVLAR allows us to cater to both and gives you an option.
